Representative Rufus B. Rodriguez of the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro and Abante Mindanao Representative Maximo B. Rodriguez, Jr. both prepare for the deliberations of House Bill 5685 (AN ACT GRANTING A FIFTY PERCENT (50%) SUBSIDY ON THE ELECTRICITY BILL OF THE RESIDENTS OF CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY AND ILIGAN CITY WHO ARE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON SENDONG). Rep Rodriguez filed this bill in order to help the people of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan who have already suffered enough. Malampaya funds will be used to pay the 50% subsidy.

Rodriguez of the 2nd District of Cagayan de Oro discusses with his Chief of Staff, Atty Kenny Dichaves, the salient features of HB 4307, AN ACT PROVIDING FOR EARLY VOTING FOR THE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS, which he filed together with Abante Mindanao Representative Maximo B. Rodriguez, Jr., in preparation for his sponsorship speech of said House Bill in the plenary. HB4307 pushes for the early voting of the electorate ahead of the scheduled Election Day in order to help minimize the queue and confusion that usually happens during elections in the country
