In a meeting held February 7, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) disclosed that it has granted a temporary connection permit for the Misamis Oriental Electric Service Cooperative (MORESCO) I to energize its 10 MVA substation in Barangay Moog, Laguindingan. This is needed for the testing and commissioning of the airport facilities.
Meanwhile, MORESCO is awaiting the approval by the Energy Regulatory Commission of its application for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to ensure permanent power supply for the commercial operation of the airport. Once approved, it will take MORESCO nine (9) months to complete the Alternate 69 KV Line from Pagawan, Manticao to energize the Moog substation.
As of 31 January 2012, civil works for the LADP is reportedly 98.70% complete. The bid documents for the Air Navigation System and Support Facilities (ANSSF) are currently under review by the Department of Transportation and Communications.
