I know this is quite late as the PBA All-Filipino Conference already ended more or less 2 weeks ago.
However, I just can’t help but write about it.
You see, I followed the Semis of the said conference and was impressed with what I saw.
Both series were decided by a game 7 and all games were decided by the most, 4 points, maybe.
The semis were both evenly matched. You can say that. But for the finals, though I tip my hat for the fight that Powerade gave, I knew it would be one sided in favor of Talk n Text.
Even TV Coverer AKTV dubbed the Semis as the “Battle of the Titans” for the TNT-Petron Showdown while the Powerade-Rain or Shine series was the “Labanan ng mga Dehado.”
From the start, they knew that Powerade was the underdog and the outcome of the Finals just proved it.
Basketball enthusiast in CdO already predicted that the winner of the TNT-Petron series would come out as the Champions and that was simply what happened.

Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist Beth Celis wrote last week that Ateneo Head Coach Norman Black will be calling the shots for the Blue Eagles once again for the 2012 UAAP.
According to her, she got the inside info from the MVP Group.
I got my own sources that told me that Coach Norman was already on his way to being Head Coach of TnT as Coach Chot Reyes will be the Head Coach to SMART Gilas. I guess the “shuffling” of Coaches in the teams bank rolled by MVP won’t be pushing through for now.
The way I see it, Coach Norman does deserve a shot for the 5-peat for the Blue Eagles as he is the one who started the Title Run for Ateneo after winning 4 straight Championships.
The question now is, who will be the Head Coach of the Gilas as I also believe that Coach Chot should stay with TnT and maybe try to grab a grand slam the 2nd time around.
There are also stories circulating that Coach Norman will be taking the Head Coach position of TnT after the 2012 UAAP Basketball Season.
