Speaker of the House of Representatives Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. grants P1 million to Cagayan de Oro City Water District to help finance the rehabilitation of its water supply system which was devastated during Typhoon Sendong. The fund which was channeled through the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) comes from the Speaker’s 2011 Priority Development Assistance Fund. Receiving the cheque on behalf of the COWD are GM Rachel M. Beja and BOD Chair Joel Baldelovar (rightmost). Witnessing the turnover are (L to R) LWUA Public Affairs Dept.
